Kelburne Ladies' 2s Miss Out vs GHK

On Saturday 5.10.19 - A great defensive effort by kelburne ladies’ 2’s. A very even first half with chances for both sides. Early on GHK was awarded a penalty flick with keeper Lynne making an outstanding save. Unfortunately, just before half time, GHK scored a goal from open play after a lapse of concentration. Kelburne had many chances with GHK’s keeper being very difficult to beat. Early in the second half GHK scored again from a backpost deflection from a penalty corner where we were slow to react. Quickly after Kelburne scored from a counter attack, Jen Morgan passed the ball to Maddy Bower at the penalty spot who turned and scored. Immediately from the restart GHK scored from open play after kelburne didn’t react quick enough still enjoying their goal. After a brilliant game by both teams and many chances for both sides GHK won 3-1. Well done ladies!
