Kelburne Ladies' 3s Miss Out to Ferguslie 1s 0-1

On Saturday 7.9.19 - Kelburne started strong with the ball not leaving the Ferguslie half for the first 10 minutes. Unfortunately a quick break from Ferguslie led to a penalty corner. After an amazing effort from the defence the ball sadly hit a foot on the goal line meaning a penalty flick was given. Despite efforts from the keeper Ferguslie unfortunately scored from the penalty flick. Kelburne quickly regained possession with amazing runs up the line from Emma Downie resulting in a shot on goal by Niamh divers which was saved by the Ferguslie keeper. After half time kelburne started strong putting more pressure on the Ferguslie defence. All efforts made by Ferguslie to break were stopped by Laura Brolly. Kelburne had 5 short corners in a row but couldn’t put any in the net.
