Heavy loss for depleted 4s team

Dumfries 1s - 10

ProLife Kelburne 4s - 0 The final score doesn't reflect the team play on the day

Turn over ball gave the Dumfries strikers easy opportunities to attack and score.

We did have several attacking plays resulting in shots on goal and a couple of penalty corners, saved by their goalkeeper.

All the youngsters stepping up from the 5's played well, against a strong experienced team of adults

Half time 5-0

More pressure from the Kelburne squad in second half again caused problems for the Dumfries defence but turn over ball and fast breakaways gave the home team several opportunities to score

Good defending especially at short corners plus some excellent saves from Muir in goal kept the second half score to 1 extra goal

However fatigue eventually kicked in and with a couple of injuries and no substitutes Dumfries pushed on and scored another 4 goals.

Great individual and team effort from all of the players on the day but Dumfries were just too strong Final score 10-0
